Kim Kardashian, Beyoncé Wedding Diss: Reality Star Reportedly Avoided Singer At MTV VMAs

There were rumors that the queen of reality television, Kim Kardashian, wanted to make “Drunk in Love” singer Beyoncé her best friend, but after the “arrogant” Mrs. Carter ditched Kardashian’s wedding to Kanye West, the 33-year-old abandoned the idea, Radar Online reported Tuesday.

Kardashian “thinks that that Beyoncé has always been very arrogant and aloof around her. Kim always made a real effort to get to know her and Jay, but she was always left with a very cold feeling,” a source told Radar Online. “Beyoncé made Kim feel very insecure, and that isn’t something that she is used to.”

“For a very long time, Kim didn’t tell Kanye how she felt, but after Jay skipped out on their wedding, she let it all come out,” the source said.

During the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night, the two practically ignored each other, an insider told the news site, saying “Kim blames Beyoncé for Jay Z skipping their wedding.” The couple vacationed in the Hamptons while Kardashian and West were married in Florence.

The awards ceremony was the first time they were seen in public together since the wedding and they were seated on the opposite side of the auditorium to avoid any awkward scenes, The Mirror reported. “It was the first event that Kim and Beyoncé have both attended since Beyoncé didn’t show up for Kim’s wedding, so it was planned with military precision,” a source told the news site.

“It would’ve been a PR disaster for them to bump into each other unawares and for the incident to be caught on camera, so their people made sure that their arrival times on the red carpet were ages apart, and their seats were on opposite sides of the auditorium.”
