Social media queen Kim Kardashian added "billionaire" to her resume for the first time in 2021, and her fortune has only continued to grow since then.

The 41-year-old star is currently worth $1.8 billion, according to Forbes' latest estimate.

Kardashian debuted on Forbes' annual world's billionaires list last year with a net worth of $1 billion, thanks to her two lucrative businesses, cosmetics and fragrance company KKW Beauty and shapewear and underwear label Skims.

However, Kardashian's net worth surged by $600 million in January after Skims' valuation hit $3.2 billion, up from $1.6 billion in April 2021, Forbes reported.

The three-year-old company's valuation doubled after Skims secured $240 million in a financing round led by hedge fund Lone Pine Capital. D1 Capital Partners as well as previous investors Imaginary Ventures, Alliance Consumer Growth and Thrive Capital also participated in the financing round, according to the outlet.

Kardashian and her business partner, Skims CEO Jens Grede, control a majority stake in the company, The New York Times reported.

Kardashian is believed to own a 35% stake in Skims worth about $900 million, according to Forbes, but the magazine indicated that it did not have documentation of her ownership and that her representative declined to comment.

She also owns a 72% stake in KKW Beauty that Forbes valued at about $500 million last year. In 2020, Kardashian had sold 20% of the company to beauty giant Coty for $200 million.

Aside from her status as co-founder of the two companies, Kardashian regularly leverages her massive social media following to promote the brands. She is also involved in her companies' marketing and product design efforts.

In addition to her businesses, Kardashian has also made millions from endorsements, her own mobile game and a lucrative reality TV career.

She and her family starred in "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" for 20 seasons from 2007 to 2021.

In a given year, Kardashian earns $50 million to $80 million from her various endeavors, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

With the success of her brands and a new reality show titled “The Kardashians,” which premieres on Hulu this April, Kardashian's net worth will likely only continue to increase.

Kardashian is currently dating comedian Pete Davidson. In February last year, she filed for divorce from Kanye West after nearly seven years of marriage. The former couple shares four kids: North, Chicago, Saint and Psalm.
