Kim Kardashian Crops Jennifer Lopez Out Of Instagram Photo: Here's Why

Kim Kardashian trended on social media for reportedly cropping Jennifer Lopez out of a selfie posted to her Instagram Story, sparking speculation that there was a dispute between the two.

On Sunday, the 42-year-old Skims founder posted a selfie with Oprah Winfrey taken at beauty brand Anastasia Beverly Hills' 25th-anniversary soirée in Los Angeles, Marie Claire reported.

In other photos posted on Instagram, Lopez was seated on the other side of Winfrey, but the 53-year-old "Marry Me" actress was absent from the snap Kardashian shared via her Instagram Story.

The outlet said that Lopez was likely cut out because of the more restrictive vertical Instagram Story crop and the fact Kardashian intended the post to be a birthday tribute to Winfrey, who turned 69 Sunday.

"Happy birthday, [Oprah]," Kardashian captioned the since-deleted selfie. "[Sharon Stone] said it best last night toasting to you that you mean the world to the world! Happy birthday."

The reality star later took to Instagram to share several photos with Lopez from the Anastasia Beverly Hills event, including one that appeared to be the original selfie featuring Kardashian, Winfrey and the "Dinero" singer, proving that there was no bad blood.

"Celebrating @anastasiasoare's 25-year anniversary of her brand @anastasiabeverlyhills. The women who have been on this journey with you coming together to celebrate you was magical!" Kardashian captioned the photos.

She continued, "You are the epitome of the American Dream and I couldn't be more proud of you. I look up to you, you give the best advice, and hearing everyone's kind words about you just reminded me what I already knew."

Lopez posted a similar gallery of photos on her own account with the caption, "Lovely dinner last night celebrating Anastasia's 25th anniversary." Kardashian commented three white heart emojis on the post.

Other A-list celebrities who attended the event included Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba, Sharon Stone, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Heidi Klum, Rita Wilson, Cindy Crawford and Kris Jenner.

It was hosted by Anastasia Soare, the CEO and founder of the billion-dollar beauty brand that's well-known for releasing staple eyebrow makeup products such as the infamous Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz and Dipbrow Pomade.
