The Kris Humphries-Kim Kardashian divorce seems to take a different turn every day.

The latest revolves around the NBA player's choice of lawyer. TMZ reports that Humphries will not hire a lawyer to help with his case. Instead, he has chosen to represent himself.

The Nets forward was going to have his business lawyer represent him, but he wasn't allowed. Humphries must have a California lawyer represent him, and his business lawyer resides in Minnesota.

Kardashian will be represented by Laura Wasser. Wasser is one of the most high-profile divorce lawyers in Hollywood. She has represented the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, Kiefer Sutherland and Stevie Wonder.

The basketball player and reality-television star got married on Aug.20. The couple decided to break up just 72 days later.

Humphries tried to have the marriage annulled, but his attempts were unsuccessful.

Much of the couple's relationship was broadcast on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
