Kim Kardashian Donates 1,000 Pairs Of Shoes On A Whim While Breastfeeding

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian West just gave birth to her second child last Saturday and it appears that her blessing has inspired her to give back. While breastfeeding late at night earlier this week, she decided on a whim, to donate 1,000 pairs of shoes.

Kim took to Twitter to tell millions of followers that she’s breastfeeding and watching television. She came upon a feature about a girl who is on a mission to collect 1,000 pairs of shoes, which she plans to donate to the Soles For Soles Foundation. The girl was reportedly making an effort to give back to the charity, after they helped her when she was devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

Kim hinted that she knows the designer of a certain very popular sneaker, the Yeezy Boost by her rapper husband, Kanye West. Not long after, she confirmed that she and Kanye are contacting Soles for Souls in order to donate 1,00 pairs of shoes on behalf of the girl she saw on television.

Kim said that she wants to get the shoes to the foundation by Christmas and she’s really hoping that the girl can be informed that she has already reached her donation target. She asks help from her followers and tries to get in touch with the girl. There is no confirmation yet about whether Kim has been able to use her massive following to track down the girl.

This isn’t the first time that Kim and the other members of her family have shown their charitable side. A standout moment was their visit to an orphanage during their family trip to Thailand last year. The family distributed clothes, toys and basic necessities. Kim was so touched by one girl, that she even tried to adopt her.

Kim’s new baby is named Saint West and is her second child with Kanye. The couple already share 2-year-old daughter North West. Catch them and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan on Season 11 of their reality show.
