Kim Kardashian, First Day As Mrs. Humphries in NYC [PHOTOS]

Kim Kardashian had a lavish wedding Aug. 20 to NBA player, Kris Humphries. The event was full of glitz and glam and many celebrities. Not much was kept from the public. Upon arrival of the wedding day, Kim talked, tweeted, and even had a camera crew follow her around to capture and share every moment.

Keeping with her ultra-vocal image, Kim continued to tweet her fans and the world about a misunderstanding developing in Hollywood. Apparently, it was reported that the Kardashian-Humphries clan would have two wedding celebrations--one on each coast.

Kim and Kris did not having another wedding, but they did have a simpler celebration that was exceptionally planned. Jason Binn and Colin Cowie are famed event planners and certainly know how to make a night memorable. Welcome to New York!!!!, Kardashian tweeted on Sept. 1. What a fun nite! It is reported that the color scheme of the event was olive, black, and white. Guests for the party included Kris Humphries' teammates from the New Jersey Nets.

Kim and Kris Humphries had a short honeymoon in Italy before heading out to LA for the MTV Video Music Awards and then NYC for their lives as Mr. and Mrs. Humphries. Many were excited for Kim's move as they know it will really give the couple a chance to get settled in this new stage.

If she lives in L.A. with her family in the limelight, she might have some bumps in the road, Patti Stanger, from Millionaire Matchmaker, said. I know Kim, her family is great, I love all of them, but Kim is a workaholic, and if she's always traveling and doing something for some appearance or some product, there's going to be no time for him. Now granted he's on the road and the NBA has a longer season than the NFL, but I think it will be more like 'we're real family now.' I think it'll be better for her, helpful, emotionally-wise. I'd like her to have some downtime for herself, where there is no glitz and glam, and she doesn't have to work it.

Moving away from the glam and glitz for a while is exactly what Kim is doing. However, her penthouse in Park Avenue is certainly no modest shack. They have reportedly moved into Gansevoort Hotel's 2,000 square foot, two level, presidential suite in NYC. The Kardashian-Humphries place provides panoramic views of the city and the east river. Its completes with a plasma TV, chandeliers, a fire place, a private deck, patio suites and more! They have three en-suite bedrooms and Audio System wiring throughout the whole apartment. The hotel itself also features a rooftop pool, a spa, a gym, restaurants, and bars. Kardashian experiences this with her new hubby all for the price of $7,000 a night, it was reported.

Kim and Kris will begin their first full month of marriage living with Kourtney Kardashian, her husband Scott, and their son Mason. On Monday, Sept. 5, filming will begin for Kim's spin-off show--Kourtney and Kim Take New York.
