Kim Kardashian Is ‘Furious’ With Kanye West Over 2016 Met Gala Dress, Report Claims

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian is “furious” with husband Kanye West after the 2016 Met Gala in New York. The rapper forced her to wear Balmain and she’s sick of Olivier Rousteing designs, Radar Online wrote in an exclusive report Tuesday.

"Kim was so furious last night that Kanye pressured her to wear that!" an insider told the publication Tuesday. Kardashian, 34, wore an all-silver ensemble, exposing only her left leg. It was a very different look from last year’s gala, where she barely covered her famous assets.

It’s not the first time she didn’t want to wear what West suggested. The couple reportedly fought over last year’s look too. "She seems so sick of wearing Balmain and she is definitely sick of Kanye calling the shots for practically every single thing she does," the source said.

As stated previously, the E! reality star didn’t feel confident in this year’s look either. "Kim said she felt like she was going to fail big time,” the anonymous person added.

But Kardashian wouldn’t admit that on the red carpet. During an interview with E! News, she said, “Balmain was the perfect choice for me,” and “especially” West. She also hinted that the dress wasn’t her idea. "I felt everyone was gonna go with [silver],” she said, adding: "I still really wanted to do it.”

While Radar Online was convinced the Wests are at odds over fashion, Gossip Cop, a site that regularly dismantles celebrity rumors, squashed the folly. “This is just Radar Online trying to continue the false divorce saga it has created for the couple,” Gossip Cop wrote. “But embarrassingly for the site, it just keeps divorcing itself from the facts.”

For evidence, Gossip Cop shared a video from Kardashian’s Snapchat account where she licks West and calls him her “sexy husband.”

Even if Kardashian didn’t originally want to wear the Balmain ensemble, she probably isn’t “furious” with her husband, especially after Vogue named them one of the best dressed couples from the 2016 Met Gala.
