Kim Kardashian Gives New Orleans Servers $300 Tip After Quick Lunch
Everyone should be lining up to serve reality star Kim Kardashian West. She has just made a reputation for herself as one cool customer after she left a $300 tip after having lunch in a New Orleans restaurant on Tuesday.
Kardashian brought her squad to meet one of her avid fans, known by the name Myleeza Kardashian. Myleeza was celebrating her 21st birthday and Kardashian decided to drop in with her BFF Jonathan Cheban and other friends.
The group had lunch at New Orleans restaurant Brennan’s, where they racked up a bill of $200. According to showbiz website TMZ, Kardashian left a 150 percent tip by giving the servers $300. She reportedly ordered only eggs and French toast while Cheban opted for the turtle soup.
Cameras were rolling during the little meeting and it is presumed that the meetup with Kardashian's avid fan was being filmed for a future episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” It wasn’t just the staff at Brennan’s who were the beneficiaries of Kardashian’s generosity that day. Avid follower Myleeza also shared via her social media accounts that she received a slew of gifts from the reality star. Among the gifts was a pair of Yeezy Boost sneakers, designed by Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West.
While Myleeza and the servers at Brennan’s were left ecstatic due to the reality star’s generosity, some fans were not too pleased with the encounter. Both Kardashian and Myleeza were forced to apologize on social media after several jealous fans started making negative comments. Many of them were irked after Myleeza tweeted that Kardashian said she was her favorite fan.
Both women have since tried to pacify jealous followers by saying that Kardashian loves all her fans equally. Myleeza claims that her new friend spoke at length about all her other fans and knows many of them by name. It remains to be seen if any part of their conversation will be aired when the reality show returns this fall.
“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” is scheduled to return in November on E!.
