Kim Kardashian Gives In To Wearing Flat Shoes Halfway Into Her Pregnancy

Reality star Kim Kardashian is more than five months pregnant, and she finally has given in to wearing flat shoes. Now that her baby bump is showing, the TV star embraced her pregnancy look by skipping the sky-high heels for her day out Sunday.

Us Weekly published some photos of the pregnant star as she walked around in Los Angeles. In the photos, she is seen wearing a pair of nude Alaia pom pom flats. She paired the sandals with a body-hugging beige midi dress that showed off her growing bump and covered up with a Haider Ackermann trench coat.

Kardashian previously revealed she hates the way she looks when she wears flats. When she first announced she was pregnant in June, she told E! News she wasn’t looking forward to switching to more comfortable footwear.

Now that she’s midway through her second trimester, her bump no longer can be concealed, and she’s been showing it off by wearing body-hugging clothes just like she did pre-pregnancy. Despite the prominent belly, Kardashian has been at the center of fake pregnancy speculation. Numerous reports have surfaced claiming she isn’t actually pregnant and she’s wearing a fake bump.

Kardashian took to social media July 17 to shut down such rumors but also admitted she liked hearing people say she looked too skinny to be pregnant. She confirmed she is carrying her own child and not using a surrogate.

She received a lot of criticism for the weight she gained during her first pregnancy with daughter, North, who is now 2 years old. She also suffered several health issues during her first pregnancy, which has made her more careful this time. She has reportedly hired a nutritionist to help control her weight and keep other pregnancy complications at bay.
