Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Divorce Rumors: Kris Jenner Forbids Split, Source Says

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West started battling divorce rumors before they were even officially wed. The latest gossip about the celebrity duo is Kardashian wants to leave her husband since they continue to argue, but her mother/manger Kris Jenner supposedly said it would be career suicide.

One of the things Kardashian and West apparently fight over is her mother and who has control over the reality star’s career. “[Kris] wants control and so does he, because he’s thinks of himself as a visionary and feels like he sees things differently than Kris,” the insider told Radar Online exclusively. “Kanye wanted to take over more of Kim’s career when they got married and he’s started doing that, but Kris won’t allow him to have 100 percent control.” The source added: “Kanye and Kris don’t see eye to eye.”

When Kardashian said “I do” in May, it was the third time she had taken wedding vows. She famously divorced ex-husband Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage, and many speculated she and West would suffer the same fate. Some thought a third divorce was a strong possibility since she was seen visiting her divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, Nov. 11, according to MediaTakeOut.com.

A different story claimed the fashionista, 34, was upset with West for using “corporal punishment” to reprimand daughter North West, but Gossip Cop reported that rumor was false.

Either way, another failed marriage is something her mother apparently thinks Kardashian can’t endure. So even though Jenner and West apparently clash, Jenner wants her daughter to stay with West. “Kim told her mom that she and Kanye are arguing and Kris said that she better fix it because her career won’t survive another divorce,” an insider told Radar Online. “It was [kind of a] threat. Kim’s career is on top now and she doesn’t want her to screw it up.”

Publicly, Kardashian and West put forward a united front and have not shown any signs of trouble, even though stories about their supposed divorce continue to run rampant.
