Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marriage issues and separation will be featured in the final episodes of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” Season 20, according to a report.
Kardashian has wrapped filming for the last episodes of "KUWTK," which ends this year after 20 seasons and more than a decade-long run on E!, Page Six reported. An unnamed source told the outlet that the breakdown of her marriage with West will be the highlight of the reality show's final season.
“The Kardashians intend to go out with a bang. They’ve filmed Kim discussing her marriage problems. But everybody involved is on a nondisclosure agreement because the finale won’t screen until later in 2021,” the insider said.
West’s contribution to the final episode is unknown as of now. Both he and Kardashian have not publicly commented on the report and did not respond to Page Six's request for comment.
It was reported early this month that West and Kardashian were calling it quits after nearly seven years of marriage and were now in the middle of negotiations over the terms of their divorce.
Several sources told Page Six that West and Kardashian are trying to sort out their finances and figure out how they will split their properties. Kardashian is being represented by one of Los Angeles' top celebrity divorce attorneys, Laura Wasser.
Rumors of their separation have been making the rounds for quite some time now. In December last year, the reality star took to Instagram to share sexy photos of herself, noticeably without her wedding ring, after reports of the divorce surfaced.
The couple share four children with together: daughter North, 7, son Saint, 5, daughter Chicago, 3, and son Psalm, who is only 20 months old.
The divorce was apparently a mutual decision for both West and Kardashian, the report said.
“He understands Kim’s side has to spin that she is sick of him. In reality, he’s been sick of being involved with Kardashians for a long while. Especially her mother, who looms large in all big decisions she makes,” another source told Page Six of West.
The insider further said that the rapper has found some parts of the chaos surrounding his divorce amusing.
“He is quite familiar with what the Kardashian public relations machine is capable of, and thinks it’s funny that her team is blaming his presidential run on the marriage disintegration,” the source claimed.
Kardashian first announced that “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” Season 20 would be the last in September. She said the final season is set to air in early 2021.
