Kim Kardashian-Kanye West Shocker: Real Reason She Hasn't Filed For Divorce Yet, According To Report

It seems all is not well between Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West as reports say the couple is parting ways after six years of marriage.

An unnamed source told E! News that Kardashian and West have not spent time together as a married couple in months and have only seen each other for the sake of their four kids — North West, 7, Saint West, 5, Chicago West, 2, and Psalm West, 20 months.

“It's gotten to the point where they have not spent time together as a married couple in months. They have seen each other for the sake of the kids but have been living separately. Kim knows the marriage is over. She's known for a while,” the insider told the outlet.

But the question remains as to why Kardashian hasn’t filed for divorce yet. According to the source, the Skims founder is only thinking about her children and the potential impact of her decision on their lives. The insider also said that Kardashian wants to make sure she’s doing the right thing.

“She wants to make sure she is making the right decision for the kids. It's not about the marriage anymore, she will always care for Kanye but it's over between them. Kim is only focused on what's best for the kids. It is a tough decision for her and she's figuring it out,” the source added.

This comes after various reports in recent months claimed that the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star and the Grammy-winning artist have been living separately for a while now.

In July, a Page Six report suggested that the “Stronger” hitmaker was living at his Wyoming ranch while Kardashian was staying with their children and family in Los Angeles. In December, it was reported that the two were still living separately and were busy with their respective projects and work commitments.

West and Kardashian’s marriage appeared to go downhill after the rapper’s first-ever presidential rally, which was held in Charleston, South Carolina, on July 19. The Yeezy founder shared a personal story and revealed that Kardashian almost had an abortion.

The whole episode forced Kardashian to come out and address West’s mental health struggles after he posted a series of erratic tweets regarding his personal life.

“Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor. People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try,” Kardashian wrote at the time.
