Is Kim Kardashian Launching A Baby Fashion Line Inspired By North West? Here's The Truth
Is it true that Kim Kardashian is coming out with a baby fashion line inspired by newborn daughter North West? It could turn out to be a best-selling-idea, but the rumor is oh-so-false. Believe it or not, Kardashian will not be cashing in on little Nori -- not yet at least.
There are no current plans to launch a baby fashion line, Kardashian's rep told Eonline.com. The daughter of Kanye West will undoubtedly have a fashionable wardrobe, but it won’t be designed by her famous mother.
The rumor all got started when designer Lloyd Klein said his friend the TV fashionista was interested in venturing out on a new project. The New York Daily News quoted him saying her daughter would be a “great poster child.”
According to the site, Klein, who's dressed celebs like Tyra Banks and Eva Longoria, would be working with the raven-haired beauty on the line. "I am sure she is going to come up with a line for babies," Klein told the Daily News' Confidenti@l.
"It is very cute to design for babies. [It would be] soft colors, pastels, something very dreamy and still trendy” the 48-year-old Canadian designer told Confidenti@l. "I do have a line that I am trying to put together for children, for babies, and it is called Baby Lloyd, but we are not there yet. There is still a way to go."
The reality beauty has been unusually private since her daughter was born, taking a general hiatus from Twitter. She made a public appearance on Friday for the first time since her daughter's birth six weeks ago on her mother’s new talk show “Kris." According to the quote from Eonline.com, Kardashian said she was “loving life a little bit too much right now” to be on Kris Jenner’s show in person.
Jenner said on her show the first-time mom is “eating really well, and she's working out a little bit, and she's nursing," according to the celebrity news site, and that Kardashian is "doing all the right things to get back to a healthy place."
“KUWTK” airs every Sunday on E! at 9 p.m. EDT.
