Kim Kardashian has been left feeling unhappy and "trapped" after husband Kanye West launched a slew of tirades against her and her family and later apologized, a report said.

The KKW Beauty mogul recently flew to Wyoming to meet with the rapper, who headed to the state following his string of alarming tweets. However, Kardashian and West, who have been married for six years, may have failed to patch things up. A source told People that this is a "very sad time" for Kardashian and that she is very "upset."

"Kim feels trapped. She loves Kanye and she thinks of him as the love of her life. But she doesn't know what to do," the insider added.

After flying to Wyoming on Monday to reunite with her husband, Kardashian headed back to Los Angeles the next day.

The source's statement comes days after West made a public apology to Kardashian on Saturday, saying, “I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter.”

Last week, West, who has bipolar disorder, took to his Twitter to share private tidbits about his family, including Kardashian and Kris Jenner. He later deleted the tweets, but not before quick eagle-eyed fans caught a glimpse of his controversial posts, including one which said that the film "Get Out" was inspired by his life.

Prior to this, he revealed during his first campaign rally in South Carolina that he and Kardashian considered aborting their eldest child, North, The Guardian reported.

However, several reports said that Kardashian and West's marriage was already on the rocks prior to the rapper's outbursts. A source of the reality star claimed that Kardashian thought she and the musician needed some time apart.

"She knows that it's not healthy for her to be around him now, and it's honestly not healthy for the kids. He needs to get his stuff together before he can be any sort of partner or father," the insider added.

Despite this, the mom-of-four reportedly still wants the best for her husband.
