Kim Kardashian Pays Tribute To Thierry Mugler: 'Beauty Will Save The World' [Photos]
Kim Kardashian has paid tribute to late French fashion designer Thierry Mugler on Instagram. The mother of four also shared a series of photos wearing the designer's outfits.
In the first photo shared Monday, Kardashian was seen in a short white dress as she walked with the late designer. In the next photo, the designer was seen helping the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum with her dress. The reality star also shared some candid moments with Mugler.
Kardashian further shared a couple of more photos of herself wearing Mugler's outfits.
"My heart breaks," she captioned the photos. "There’s no one like you! Your vision, your transformations, your magic! I am so honored to have known you, spent time with you and be a muse for you."
The Skims founder further wrote that there was so much more for the designer to share with the world and many things they had planned together. However, Kardashian noted that he had already given this world so much.
"I will never forget our time together around the world and learning from the master himself on what couture really meant!" she said, adding: "You always said beauty will save the world - and you really believed it was a better place because of the beauty all around!"
Kardashian extended her condolences to Mugler's family, friends, and his team. "I love you so much. My condolences go to Manfred’s family, friends, JB and his incredible team - and everyone who loved him and who’s lives he has touched," she concluded.
Fans took to the comments section to share their reactions.
"The Met Gala look was one of the best in history," one of the fans stated, while another fan wrote, "Absolutely Beautiful." The comments section was flooded with heart emojis.
Kardashian and Mugler worked together for Met Gala 2019. A Twitter user shared the outfit Kardashian donned during the event.
"Mugler's dress for the "camp" MET gala in 2019 [worn by Kim Kardashian], based on Sophia Loren emerging from the sea in the 1957 film Boy on a Dolphin, more broadly referencing hollywood actresses frolicking in the Californian surf, is the most underrated outfit of all time," the user wrote in the caption.
Mugler passed away Sunday at the age of 73.
