Kim Kardashian joined the "Bridgerton" fandom a little late but like other fans, she has also become obsessed with the period drama. The 40-year-old socialite took to Instagram Stories Sunday to reveal that she was enjoying the Netflix series with her friends, Stephanie Shepherd and Tracy Romulus.

Kardashian took a screenshot of the lead characters Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset -- portrayed by Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page, respectively -- and wrote, "It's finally happening!!!"

She immediately posted another story and noted, "I'm not ok!!!" along with another screenshot of the two lead characters dancing together. She added a series of reactions on her Instagram Stories, including "What is happening?!?! I'm not crying!!!"

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star also shared a video of her girl-pals clapping when the on-screen couple kissed. In another video, she whispered during a dramatic scene and encouraged Simon's character to chase Daphne romantically, "Chase her! Yes ... Yes, go get her!"

According to Instagram Stories, it seems Kardashian has binge-watched at least four episodes of the show. Kardashian also shared photos of wine glasses, which she enjoyed during the show with her friends.

"Bridgerton" is based on popular book series penned by Julia Quinn that highlighted the esteemed British high society families and their romantic relationships.

The romantic drama was dropped on Netflix on Dec. 25 and immediately caught the attention of many celebrities, including Chrishell Stause, Drew Barrymore, Mila Kunis, Sarah Ferguson, Chelsea Peretti, Bellamy Young, and the list goes on.

The show became top 10 in every country, excluding Japan. The drama is produced by Shonda Rhimes and it became number one in 83 countries. Earlier this year, Netflix announced that the show had been renewed for the second season and it will be based on Quinn's series, "The Viscount Who Loved Me."

"The ton are abuzz with the latest gossip, and so it is my honor to impart to you: Bridgerton shall officially return for a second season. I do hope you have stored a bottle of ratafia for this most delightful occasion," People reported.

On the other hand, the latest episode of "KUWTK" highlighted the marital problems between Kardashian and her estranged husband, Kanye West.
