Kim Kardashian Reveals The Dress She Wore When North Was Conceived

Kim Kardashian revealed the outfit she wore on the night she and ex-husband Kanye West conceived their firstborn child on the second season finale of Hulu's "The Kardashians."

The 42-year-old Skims founder and her now-9-year-old daughter North talked about the night North was conceived while the mother and daughter were visiting Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing in Paris, France, in July. The designer dressed both Kardashian and North for the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall 2022/Winter 2023 runway show during Paris Fashion Week.

"Northie, I've known Olivier since before you were a baby," Kardashian told her daughter in the episode.

"He gave daddy (West) this blue dress that daddy wanted for me, it was my birthday, the year before you were born," she said, adding that her daughter "got in" her belly the night she wore the dress.

"So, Olivier might have a little something to do with the reason you're on this planet," Kardashian quipped.

About eight months before the beauty mogul and the 45-year-old rapper's oldest daughter was born on June 15, 2013, the then-couple appeared on the red carpet of Gabrielle's Angel Foundation Angel Ball in New York City, according to Page Six.

At the time, Kardashian wore a royal blue low-cut, long-sleeve Balmain dress designed by Rousteing. She paired the gown with matching blue earrings, black pointed heels, and a large ring, and styled her hair into a fishtail braid.

West sported a classic black tuxedo paired with a black bow tie during the event.

After the birth of their eldest daughter, Kardashian and West welcomed three more children during the span of their six-year marriage. They now co-parent four kids in total: North, 6-year-old son Saint, 4-year-old daughter Chicago and 3-year-old son Psalm.

In February last year, Kardashian filed for divorce from the rapper, requesting joint legal and physical custody of their children.

According to unnamed sources who spoke to Page Six at the time, West accepted the custody arrangement, and the pair were "committed to co-parenting."

Though they were declared legally single in March, the divorce has yet to be completely finalized as the exes are still ironing out their custody and property settlement issues.
