Kim Kardashian Says Kanye West Is More Important To Her Than Kardashian Family
Kim Kardashian told her mom, Kris Jenner, that Kanye West comes before her family, in an upcoming episode of “Kourtney and Kim Take Miami.”
In an episode filmed last fall, before Kim became pregnant, she backs out of a family outing, thinking her boyfriend, West, will be in town.
Soon after, when entering the kitchen while her family eats breakfast, her stepfather, Bruce Jenner, asks, “Little Kimmie, what are you going to back out on today? Anything else you want to get out of?” according to Radar Online.
But Kim actually wants to tell the family she can attend the event after all since West had to catch a last-minute flight and won’t be in town after all.
Her family is not impressed.
“So we’re your backup choice,” her mother, Kris, asks. Kim’s sister Kourtney Kardashian adds, “So we’re second priority.”
“Yeah you are,” Kim replied. “Yeah, in my life you are!”
Bruce did not take too kindly to Kardashian’s brutal honesty, responding, “You know, I’m the team captain, and I like commitment. ... There’s no more room, sorry.”
Meanwhile, months later, Kim and West are expecting their first child. She posted the first picture of her baby bump last week.
Appearing to be at her latest photo shoot, Kim is wearing a tight black dress that clearly shows off her protruding belly. Khloe Kardashian Odom is pulling at a part of her sister’s dress, likely to emphasize Kim’s stomach.
“Well hello there! #PoppedOuttaNowhere!!!” is the photo caption Kim wrote.
While Kim is trying to maintain her workout regime during her pregnancy, she admits that it is not easy. “Was so lazy but had to get that workout in! I'm so not a night workout person,” she tweeted before she headed to the gym.
A big motivation for her seems to be not wanting a double chin. “Can't sleep & I'm googling double chin exercises! I'm petrified to get one,” Kim wrote on her account earlier this week.
Since her New Year's pregnancy announcement, Kim had been keeping her developing pregnancy curves covered, hiding baby "Kimye" behind wraps and tied jackets.
During a recent interview with NBC's “Today” show, Kim admitted that she is still getting used to the idea of being pregnant.
“I think until I really start seeing, like, a belly, it won’t really sink in. It’s just a weird realization until you really start seeing the physical changes and every day’s different,” she told "Today" host Savannah Guthrie.
