Kim Kardashian Says She Might Not Return To Paris For '10 Years' After Robbery
Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris apartment last October, and the aftermath of the event has been well documented on her reality television show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” In a teaser for the season finale of the show, the 36-year-old star said she will not be returning to the city where she was robbed for as many as 10 years.
In the clip, Kardashian met with close friends Jonathan Cheban, La La Anthony and Simon Huck in New York’s Meatpacking District. Kardashian revealed that she would be required to appear in court to testify about the robbery. Anthony, a television personality and longtime friend of Kardashian, asked the reality star how it feels at “this stage in the game to have to repeat what happened again and again.”

“I think I’ve said it a lot and I’ve relived it so much in therapy that I’ll be okay,” Kardashian said. “I mean, I don’t know. If they start asking me certain questions, maybe it’ll trigger something and I’ll just be emotional. But it’s nothing that I can’t get through.”
When asked by Huck if she planned to return to Paris, Kardashian replied, “Not anytime soon — like 5, 6, 7, 10 years. I don’t want to go anytime soon.”
She went on to describe her 3-year-old daughter North’s pajamas — which had Eiffel Tower imagery on them — and said that North had expressed interest in visiting France. “She goes, ‘Mommy, you like to go to Paris, right?’ And I was like ‘yeah.’ She's like, ‘Are you gonna take me?’ And I was like, ‘You've been there before, and we'll go one day.’”
Kardashian added, “It would be so hard. But I will do it for her.”
Kardashian gave her first public interview about the incident in April following a hiatus from social media, filming her show and public obligations. During her appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ eponymous daytime talk show, the reality star said the incident had changed her and made her more family-focused.

“I know this sounds crazy, but I know that was meant to happen to me,” Kardashian told DeGeneres. “That was so meant to happen to me. I really feel that things happen in your life to teach you things.”
“It was probably no secret, you see it on the show when I was being flashy. I was definitely materialistic before,” she continued. “Not that there’s anything bad with having things and working hard to get those things. I’m really proud of everyone around me who’s successful, but I’m so happy that my kids get this me and that this is who is raising my kids. I just don’t care about that stuff anymore.”
“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” will air its season finale Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT on E!
