Kim Kardashian Slams ‘Fake Story’ She Wasn’t Happy For Kylie Jenner Pregnancy

When Harper’s Bazaar published a story about Kim Kardashian’s supposed first reaction to the news that sister Kylie Jenner is reportedly pregnant with boyfriend Travis Scott’s baby, using a quote from a People story, Kardashian was not happy about.

The article was about how Kardashian, who is currently expecting her third child via a surrogate, was reportedly not too happy about the baby news when she first heard about it. The quote was based off an unnamed source who spoke with People magazine.

“Her first reaction was, ‘Seriously?’ She didn’t respond well at first,” the source told People. “It’s like she and [husband] Kanye [West] had gone on this whole journey to get pregnant for months, and now this happens to Kylie. She teared up. It definitely took a lot of time for her to process it.”

When Harper’s Bazaar tweeted out the link to the article, Kardashian responded shortly after to call it “a very fake story.”

She followed up this tweet aimed at one article, with a little bit of a more general statement to the media and how it’s handling this story as a whole, especially regarding Kylie’s father Caitlyn Jenner’s views on it.

“The media is super shady for posting fake quotes from Caitlyn when she hasn’t spoke to anyone ,” the mother of two tweeted.

The Caitlyn quotes that Kardashian is referring to are the ones in stories by outlets like HollywoodLife.

“Caitlyn was really shocked and disappointed to learn that Kylie is prengnant,” a source close to Caitlyn supposedly told HollywoodLife.

She thinks Kylie is way too young to have a baby, and that she should have waited until she was in a long term committed relationship. Obviously, Kylie has more than enough money to ensure that she can pay for help, but Caitlyn still thinks that having a baby will take a huge toll on Kylie’s life. Caitlyn would have liked for Kylie to wait til she was in her thirties, but Kylie has always wanted to be a young mom, and she’s crazy in love with Travis [Scott], so she didn’t want to wait any longer. Caitlyn is concerned that Kylie and Travis really haven’t been dating very long, and that a baby will put a big strain on their relationship, but Kylie believes the exact opposite—that she and Travis will be together forever.

While Kardashian is slamming stories such as the above for being untrue, she’s also likely referring to an article from The Sun which claimed that Caitlyn was told about Kylie’s pregnancy a while ago.

“All I can tell you is that it was some time ago," Caitlyn’s representative had supposedly told The Sun.

Clearly, Kardashian is not having any of it.
