Kim Kardashian Talks Surrogate, Admits It’s Frustrating Not Knowing Everything About Baby

Kim Kardashian recently shared her thoughts about surrogacy, as well as her inability to carry her third child.

On Sunday’s episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” the reality TV star said that she’s grateful to her surrogate for making it possible for her and Kanye West to have another baby.

Kardashian also said that she has no plans to make her surrogate’s identity public because she’s worried that the paparazzi would harass her. “Like she doesn’t know how to handle stuff like that, that isn’t her world,” she told her sister, Kourtney Kardashian (via E! News).

Even though the reality TV star is thankful for her surrogate, Kardashian admitted that it’s a struggle to not be the one to carry your own child. She detailed being present at all of the doctor’s appointments, but still not feeling the growth of her baby because she’s not the one pregnant.

“Of course I want to know every last detail that’s going on with my baby and that’s super frustrating, but I really trust my surrogate and I don’t want to be that person that’s trying to control her every move,” she explained.

News about Kardashian and West hiring a surrogate first came out in June after Kris Jenner’s daughter revealed that doctors told her getting pregnant again would be unsafe for her.

In one episode of “KUTWK,” Kardashian told her good friend, Jonathan Cheban, that she could no longer carry kids. “It’s not going to be happy for me… I had a full break down… I give up,” she said at the time.

While talking to her mom on the show, Kardashian said that she considered surrogacy after talking to a mother who used to be a surrogate. Initially, the reality TV star feared that she won’t have the same connection with her third child like she has with North West and Saint West.

According to People, Kardashian’s younger sister, Khloe Kardashian offered to be her surrogate. Chrissy Teigen also had a conversation with Kardashian, but she ultimately decided to go with an unnamed woman.
