Is Kim Kardashian Trying To Reinvent Herself By Copying Sarah Jessica Parker?

Kim Kardashian is attempting to reinvent her image by emulating Sarah Jessica Parker, and she has roped in the “Sex and the City” actress’ publicist to help her achieve the task, according to reports.

Kardashian recently split from her longtime publicist, Jill Fritzo -- who also represents her sisters Khloe and Kourtney -- presumably under boyfriend Kanye West’s direction, and hired Ina Treciokas as her new publicist.

Last year, Treciokas held the fifth spot on Business Insider’s list of top 20 powerful Hollywood publicists, and she has Harrison Ford, Woody Harrelson, Leslie Mann, Anna Paquin, Owen Wilson and Parker, among others, as her clients.

“Kim wants to be seen as sophisticated, as high-end and fashion, not the girl who made a sex tape and is famous for being famous,” a publicist told NaughtyButNiceRob.com. “She is trying to buy her reinvention by employing SJP’s team,” the source said, adding that Kardashian is looking forward to hiring Parker’s stylist, hairdresser and makeup artist as well.

According to an insider, Parker considers Kardashian’s obsession “flattering but a little creepy,” and she wants Kardashian to learn a skill and prove herself, rather than depend on improving her looks.

“Her (Parker’s) advice would be to go to acting classes. Learn a craft and become admired for the work you do, not just the way you look,” the source told the website.

When Kardashian started dating West last year, he began revamping the “Keeping Up With The Kardashian” star’s image, and he even advised her to dress more like England’s Kate Middleton.

“Kanye has been urging Kim to tone down her make-up and style her hair in a more conservative style, like Kate,” a source told the Daily Star. “And it’s not just Kate’s regal look that Kanye wants Kim to mimic. He’s also told her that she could learn a thing or two about poise and sophistication from Kate.”
