Is Kim Kardashian Vegan? Star Details Family's Diet, Says North Is Pescatarian
Kim Kardashian West gave her Twitter followers some insight into her family’s diet on Tuesday morning.
After a fan asked whether or not the mother of four would ever go vegan, the 39-year-old went into detail about her family’s diet, ET reports. “I eat mostly [plant-based.] No meat anymore,” she replied.
This revelation prompted another fan to ask if she feeds her children, whom she shares with husband Kanye West, the same type of foods. Kim confirmed this but added that her oldest daughter North West, 6, is a pescatarian.
She also gave a few examples of her healthy favorites which include oatmeal, vegan sausage, vegan tacos, salads, and sea moss smoothies.
As ET reports, the conversation began after the reality star tweeted about her craving for waffles.
“I’m craving Eggo’s! I thought it would go away but it’s not, Should I go for it or control myself?" she wrote. From there, questions began to pour in about the KKW creator’s other food preferences. For example, one Twitter user asked about her favorite snack to which she replied with a few of her favorite junk foods.
“I love Cheetos,” she tweeted. “OMG Cheetos puffs too and Doritos sometimes.” However, when the topic of Hot Cheetos came up the star shared her distaste for spicy foods.
Further, Kim expressed her favorite kind of Oreos and Starbucks drink.
The reality star also shared her love for skinny fries and baked potatoes. Although, she added that she doesn’t like waffle or sweet potato fries.
The insight comes after the influencer received some backlash in early January after showing a practically empty fridge on her Instagram Story. The 39-year-old later revealed that the fridge, which only contained water and milk, wasn’t the only one in her home.
She followed up with a tour of her kitchen’s walk-in refrigerator. "This is the kitchen where it all happens. And guys, I have a walk-in refrigerator where we keep all of our fresh organic produce," she said during the video. "We are building on the property all organic trees to grow our own vegetables and do all of our own stuff. All of our meals, you guys know I eat plant-based now. So all of our stuff is in here."
