Kim Kardashian revealed that she received a warning when she decided to work with President Donald Trump. Many people believed that doing so would destroy her reputation, but she still did it.

Kardashian joined David Letterman for the upcoming episode of his Netflix series "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction." During the interview, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star recounted the warning she received for working with Trump on prison sentencing reform.

"Trust me, everyone called me and said, ‘Don’t you dare step foot in that White House or your reputation is done," Kardashian was quoted by Page Six as saying.

"And I said, ‘I have to step foot in there or these people’s lives don’t have a chance,'" she continued.

Letterman praised Kardashian's decision to help the prisoners, but the host admitted he is still not a fan of the president.

"But see, your good work is overwhelming. It’s a positive force that diminishes what I consider to be unacceptable behavior by the president," he said.

Kardashian didn't comment on Letterman's words. Instead, she said she was "extremely grateful" for the administration's work on criminal justice reform. She added that she will stay focused on what she can accomplish and she has no plan to stop it regardless of who will be the next president.

"Hopefully, for the next multiple administrations, I’ll be working with the White House, helping them with clemencies," Kardashian said.

During her guesting, Kardashian also explained an on-screen photo of Alice Johnson, the woman whose life sentence she personally persuaded Trump to commute. However, Letterman remained stern against the administration despite hearing Kardashian's work with them.

"I’m grateful for what you’re doing, but it doesn’t make me feel any better about the current administration," he said.

The reality star did not say anything bad about the POTUS and also accepted Letterman's personal stance. "I understand that," she told him.

Kardashian is currently studying law. Earlier this month, she shared a clip of how she studies with two of her attorney mentors Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney, Entertainment Tonight reported.

"This is how we study," Kanye West's wife said in the video while pouring shots of tequila. "I need a chaser, I don't know how much a shot is to be honest, you guys."

"To studying for law school and passing this [explicit] test once and for all," she added.
