Kim Kardashian Weight Loss Plan: How The Star Will Get Her Pre-Baby Body Back
Kim Kardashian is still in the hospital following the birth of her first daughter on Saturday, but she's already determined to lose the baby weight. Although tabloids claim the 5’2″ star weighed 200 pounds at the peak of her pregnancy, those reports are unconfirmed -- but it can't be denied that Kardashian gained at least 30 pounds.
The 32-year-old curvaceous beauty had a miscarriage scare in March after frequently being spotted entering the gym for a daily workout.
"Kim’s not respecting her pregnancy,” an insider told the New York Post's Page Six at the time. “She’s running around, working out seven days a week. She’s working with two different trainers to control her weight, including Tracy Anderson and a pregnancy trainer.”
While she appeared to cut back on trips to the gym, now she's ready to get her pre-baby body back.
“She’s already looking ahead to when she can exercise again,” a source told Us Weekly. “She has over 30 bouquets from loved ones,” in her hospital room, an insider said. “She told everyone not to bring sweets — she said she doesn’t need any temptations! She really wants to get back into shape. It’s important to her.”
Kardashian plans to resume her workouts with Anderson, who whipped older sister Khloe into shape.
Although Kim has been mum following the birth of her daughter, Khloe tweeted fans on Sunday. "I cannot even begin 2 describe the miracle that is now a part of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy & resting. We appreciate all the love."
Although Kardashian gave birth five weeks earlier than expected, Kris Jenner said her daughter and the newborn are both OK. “We’re all fine. We’re all good," Jenner told “Headline News” on Sunday. "Extremely happy and thrilled for the new baby. She’s doing great and she’s beautiful.”
While the parents haven't announced the baby's name, speculation in the media says Kardashian and Kanye West named their baby girl Kaidence Donda West. Donda is West’s mother’s name -- she passed away in 2007 after plastic surgery complications.
