Kim Kardashian's Fairytale Wedding is Genuine or Sham? (PHOTOS)
Kim Kardashian's divorce with NBA player Kris Humphries after 72 days' of marriage has prompted people to call their fairytale wedding a complete sham, one carefully orchestrated by the Kardashian family to earn money and fame.
Kardashian and Humphries began dating last December. In May, Humphries proposed and offered Kardashian a 20-carat engagement ring, which reportedly cost $2 million.
Moreover, the ring was engraved with two Bible verses. One is [Proverbs 31: 10-31] about the perfect godly woman and the other is [1 John 3:18] about love.
It took me . . . a few days to pick them out and research the perfect ones,” Humphries told People magazine.
The couple exchanged vows on Aug. 20 before almost 500 celebrities, including Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough, Mel B, Brittny Gastineau, LaLa Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony, Sugar Ray Leonard and The Spin Crowd's Jonathan Cheban.
The Kardashians had sold the copyright of the lavish wedding ceremony, which cost about $20 million, to E!. At that time the couple looked like a princess and prince.
However, the prince and princess didn't live happily ever after. Only after 72 days, Kim filed for divorce from Kris on Monday, citing irreconcilable reasons.
