Is Kim Kardashian’s Lip Ring Real? Kanye West’s Wife Sports New Jewelry On Sushi Date

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian sported a new look when she returned to social media in 2017: A lip ring. She continued to wear the piece of metal jewelry during a sushi date with husband Kanye West in Beverly Hills Monday, the Daily Mail reported the next day. She apparently traded in her signature chokers for a piercing.

On par with her new glam-grunge style, Kardashian wore and oversized black sweatshirt. For her bottom ensemble, the reality star wore jeans that were missing large panels in the front. Underneath, she added lace stocking so her legs would not be bare.

Kardashian, 36, has not confirmed if the lip ring is real, but it’s most likely a clip-on accessory to add to her edgy style. For those who want to replicate the look, the diamond-and-gold decoration can be purchased through Established Jewelry. But thrifty shoppers, beware: It is priced at more than $700.

Since her return to social media, Kardashian has taken a different online persona. Instead of posting multiple pictures of herself pouting in front of camera from various angles, she shared pictures of her family. More than ever, she shared pictures of her son, Saint. West also made more of an appearance. Daughter North was essentially a regular before Kardashian took a hiatus three months ago-- and she remained a fixture in 2017.

Kardashian went into hiding after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris Oct. 3. An estimated $11 million in jewels was stolen from the E! reality star.

The new season of “KUWTK” showed Kardashian crying over the horrifying incident. “They're going to shoot me in the back,” she says in the trailer, which was released Friday. “There's no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it.”

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” is slated to return to E! in March 2017.
