Kim Kardashian's Makeup Artist Laughs Off Criticisms About Her Met Gala Look

But her makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, seems to be taking things in stride and has decided to join the fun.

Dedivanovic earlier shared a photo of the makeup products and tools he used for the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star, including an eye pencil from Kardashian's beauty brand.

He also posted a snap of him working on Kardashian's makeup ahead of the event.

"Prepping @kimkardashian's skin for the #Met Gala tonight," he wrote Monday.

However, the post sparked even more memes online.

One Twitter user wondered why the TV star was getting a signature makeup style if she was covered up in black cloth.

Another user shared an image of the reality TV star in her masked look and wrote, "kim kardashian's makeup is gorgeous."

Dedivanovic has decided to shrug off the negative comments and join the laughter. The makeup artist reposted a meme by a user named Felipe, who tweeted of a photo of Kardashian at the Met Gala with the caption, "Mario can do no wrong."

"It's the makeup for me, LOL," he wrote and tagged Kardashian.

Dedivanovic's post received 221,054 likes, with many followers posting clapping and laughing emojis approving the makeup artist's jolly response.

"you're so hilarious!!!! People have no idea how funny you are to be around! I miss sitting next to you all day for our tv show! Because I was like this with you all day," one person said.

"So funny we love you," another Instagram user wrote.

Kardashian defended her red carpet style Tuesday by posting on Instagram, "What's more American than a T-shirt head to toe?!"

This year's Met Gala theme was "American Independence."
