Kim Kardashian’s Net Worth Exposed After Robbery Of $11M In Jewelry At Gunpoint In Paris
“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian lost more than her sense of security when she was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room Sunday, she was also stripped of $11 million in jewelry. It’s more money than most people will make in a lifetime.
The Los Angeles native earns up to $50 million a year and has a total net worth of $150 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. But not all of that can be earned through reality television, right?
While Kardashian, 35, is best known for being a reality star, she is also an entrepreneur. She makes half of her money from mobile endeavors. For example, last year she launched the mobile gaming app, “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.” Roughly 40percent of her annual revenue is generated through the app, Forbes reported. The game made $71.8 million in 2015.
She has her own line of emoji, called, “Kimoji,” which cost $1.99. The raven-haired beauty also has her a personal app, which charges fans a $2.99 monthly subscription.
Kardashian has essentially turned her last name into an empire and churned out a slew of products. Here are just some of the things she’s done: the “Kardashian Konfidential” book; the seflie book “Selfish;” Kardashian Glamour Tan; QuickTrim promoter; perfumes like True Reflection, Glam, Gold, Signature, Kim Kardashian; Khroma Beauty; Dash store clothing and products; Kardashian Collection clothing at Sears; Kardashian Kids clothing line; Kardashian Sun Kissed Skincare; Kardashian Beauty and Beach Bunny Swimwear.
The plethora of products and endorsement deals has helped get her to a point where she can travel with $11 million in jewelry to another country. News that she was robbed at gunpoint broke Monday morning in Paris.
“Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed,” Kardashian's spokesperson Ina Treciokas told CNN.
Kardashian has yet to issue a personal statement on the robbery.
