Kim Zolciak’s Son Gets Emergency Surgery For ‘Traumatic Injuries’ Obtained From Dog
Kim Zolciak just revealed on social media that her 4-year-old son, Kash, underwent emergency surgery after getting bitten by a dog. The mom-of-six admitted that this was the most terrifying experience of her life.
On Sunday, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star took to Instagram to explain to her fans why she couldn’t make it to “Watch What Happens Live.” She shared a photo of her son lying on a hospital bed as she and husband Kroy Biermann comfort the young boy. She then wrote a lengthy explanation regarding why she’s not going to Andy Cohen’s live show.
She started her message by revealing that the last 14 hours had been a living nightmare for her as a mother as Kash had to go through emergency surgery. Apparently, the 4-year-old obtained “traumatic injuries” after getting bitten by a dog, so he underwent surgical treatment. Zolciak said that she and her family are now praying for a speedy recovery for Kash after the operation.

The television personality also did not forget to thank everyone who is praying for her son, as well as the medical staff at the hospital where her son is staying for recuperation. “Thank you for all your prayers … A very special Thank you to my incredible medical team! A few days in the hospital and we will be back home,” she wrote.
Many of the reality star’s fans responded to her post with positive messages. “My heart breaks for you as a mother to feel helpless. I am sure you are in great hands and you also have angels surrounding your little man. Continued love and prayers for you and the family,” one wrote. “Get well soon Kash!! Prayers to you and the rest of the Biermann family.”
Zolciak’s post about her son’s emergency situation came as a shock to her avid fans. Just a day prior, the 38-year-old Bravo actress shared on social media about how her kids were having a blast playing with water guns.
The “Don’t Be Tardy” star and her son Kash made headlines early this year when the former shared a Snapchat photo showing the latter’s school assignment. In the snap, the young kid stated that he loves his father for “he lets [him] hold his real gun.” Zolciak went under fire for sharing the snap and for captioning it, “I [love] this,” as first reported by Us Weekly.
