Garrett Clayton is finally married to his longtime boyfriend Blake Knight, after postponing their wedding three times.

The 30-year-old actor confessed he and Knight had been trying to get hitched for a long time. Now that they are married, they are just thrilled to find out what's in store for them.

"We're just excited," he told People in an interview published Saturday.

The couple got engaged in January 2018, after dating for seven years. However, they had to postpone their wedding plans three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

They finally put an end to their long wait over the Labor Day weekend and tied the knot in a private residence in Los Angeles.

The wedding was attended by 160 people, including friends and family. Actress Alicia Silverstone, who worked with Clayton in "King Cobra," officiated the ceremony.

"We're big Disney nerds!" Knight told the outlet, adding, "We just wanted to make it as simple as possible."

Clayton took to Instagram to share a cute photo of him holding hands with his groom. In the photo, the actor could be seen leaning on Knight's shoulder while walking with him.

"Today's the day I get to marry, my love," he wrote in the caption.

Many celebrities took to the comments section to share their love and well wishes for the couple.

Radio DJ Michelle Visage commented, "HAVE THE BEST DAY SWEET ANGEL."

Actress Marla Sokoloff wrote, "Sending you all the love in the world - enjoy your day!"

Actor Jaymes Vaughan simply said, "Congratulations!"

Meanwhile, video creator Charisma noted, "Eeekkk!!! So excited to witness this beautiful Union!"

It was in August 2018 when Clayton revealed being gay and opened up about his relationship with Knight, whom he had been dating since 2011. He also talked about the pressure to stay quiet about his sexuality.

"That was so conflicting because here's somebody offering you your dream, but they're telling you that you're not good enough the way you are," the actor told Gay Times at that time. "You're talented, but who you are isn't good enough."

Clayton also recalled an experience involving some co-stars who troubled him before he came out.

"I even had cast members screaming drunkenly in the middle of a room, 'Who here thinks Garrett is gay?' and then yelling at me for not having come out yet," he told the outlet.

On the work front, the actor will be next seen in a television movie "Our Man," which is currently under post-production.
