KISS, Motley Crue Tour: Dates Include Atlanta, Houston, Las Vegas and Toronto [FULL LIST]
KISS and Mötley Crüe have announced their plans for one of the biggest music spectacles of the summer: The Tour.
The two '80s rock legends are uniting to launch a nationwide tour that will visit some 40 cities.
The tour kicks off with a July 20 performance in Bristow, VA, and runs through Sept. 23, ending in Hartford, CT.
These guys are the baddest band in the f***ing world, Mötley Crüe's Vince Neil said at the Roosevelt Hotel on Tuesday. Our very first tour was with KISS in 1982. To be able to do it now is amazing.
Each band will play about 90 minutes with Kiss closing out the show every night, according to Rolling Stone.
Seeing them on stage, it was obvious back then that this was the next big thing, KISS' Paul Stanley added. We talk about bang for buck, this will be the definition of bang for buck on this tour. If you want to see more bombs and artillery, you'll have to check out the military.
As The Tour makes a bold statement, surely the two bands can back it up as they boast combined album sales of almost 200 million, 30-plus chart-topping hits and countless sold-out tours.
And with both KISS and Mötley Crüe being known for their elaborate stage shows, which include crazy pyrotechnics, impressive lighting and pristine sound production, both sets promise to be nothing less than spectacular.
Tickets for the Live Nation promoted tour will go on sale beginning Friday, Mar. 23 at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.
Mega fans for the groups are in luck as both bands will have fan club pre-sales beginning Wednesday, Mar. 21 at 10 a.m.
