‘Kissing Booth 3’ Confirmed: Elle Avoids Harvard Call In First Teaser Video
Pucker up because “The Kissing Booth 3” is already on the way. Netflix announced that the third film was made in secret, and they released the first clip just two days after the first sequel started streaming.
“The Kissing Booth 2” ended with a big cliffhanger (spoilers ahead!). Elle (Joey King) was accepted to both Berkley and Harvard. She and her best friend Lee (Joel Courtney) promised they’d go to Berkley together, but Lee’s brother/Elle’s boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi) goes to Harvard. Will she follow her bestie or her boyfriend? (Or, will she make the smart decision and choose the school based on what has the best program for her?)
The Flynn boys are going to be 3,000 miles apart in the fall, and Elle needs to decide if she wants to be on the east or west coast. In “The Kissing Booth 3” clip, Elle doesn’t seem to have made a decision.
The teaser video, released Sunday, shows Noah, Lee, Elle and Rachel (Meganne Young) having a fun summer day by the pool. As Rachel serves drinks, Elle’s phone starts ringing. Harvard Admissions is ringing her, but Elle declines the call.
“Is everything OK?” Noah asks.
“Yeah, fine,” Elle lies. She distracts him by whispering an idea in his ear.
“Yes, I would like that very much,” Noah says. The two head into the house, but Lee asks where they’re heading.
“Noah wants to read me poetry and tell me all about his favorites,” Elle says, very unconvincingly. Their exit isn’t exactly smooth.
“The Kissing Booth 3” doesn’t have a release date yet, but the sequel will be the final installment. The caption on Netflix’s clip says, “The gang is gettin back together one last time.”
"The Kissing Booth 2" is now available on Netflix.
