KKW X KYLIE Crème Liquid Lipstick Is Sold Out, But Jenner Promises Restock

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” reality TV star Kim Kardashian teamed up with her sister, makeup maven Kylie Jenner, to create an exclusive line on her lip kit. As with other limited launches, the KKW X KYLIE Crème Liquid Lipstick sold out within minutes. While that’s bad luck for those who missed out on the launch, there’s good news: Jenner promised fans there would be a restock.

“Thank you guys so much for getting my collab with Kylie! We are sold out!!! Can't wait to see you guys in our colors! #KKWXKYLIE,” Kardashian, 36, tweeted Tuesday.

Jenner’s message offered hope for those who missed out. “Wow what a crazy day!!!! Thank you guys for all the love on KKW X KYLIE COLLECTION!” the 19-year-old beauty mogul wrote. “We are SOLD OUT! Stay tuned for the restock.”

Jenner’s tweet about a restock was liked more than 7,600 times by her 20.3 million followers.

She didn’t post on Instagram about the launch, except to promote it before it dropped at 6 p.m. EDT Tuesday.

Kardashian explained why she wanted to join her sister’s empire in an Instagram video for Kylie Cosmetics Monday, saying what inspired her to create the limited-edition, four-piece nude liquid lipstick collection.

“My makeup looks definitely put me in a mood, definitely give me different personalities,” she said in the clip, which garnered nearly 860,000 views. “I wanted to do all nude shades because that’s really all that I wear. So I have so many different shades of nudes that I wear, so I just wanted to, you know, bring them into our collection.”

All of the colors were not-so-surprisingly named after Kardashian. The shades, ranging from dusty rose to a brownish-nude, are called: Kimmie, Kiki, Kimberly and Kim.
