Kobe Bryant Divorce: Vanessa Bryant Didn't Get Along With Khloe Kardashian, Other Basketball Wives: Report

Kobe Bryant's wife, Vanessa, filed for divorce from the Lakers star on Friday and since then a lot of reports and rumors have surfaced, giving a glimpse into the 10-year marriage that went sour because of alleged cheating.

TMZ reported that Vanessa Bryant caught Kobe Bryant cheating with multiple women and ended things. Some of those alleged acts of cheating happened very recently, sources told the celebrity news Web site.

Kobe Bryant has publicly admitted to extramarital affairs in 2003 when he was caught up in a huge sexual assault scandal just two years into his marriage to Vanessa Bryant.

Now, RadarOnline is reporting that Vanessa Bryant also didn't get along with Khloe Kardashian while Kardashian's husband, Lamar Odom, was playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. The report also noted that Vanessa Bryant didn't get a long well with any of the other NBA wives.

RadarOnline is also reporting that other NBA wives were keeping tabs on Kobe Bryant and that they were the ones who informed Vanessa Bryant about her husband's alleged infidelities.

Our sources tell us that she wasn't liked by the majority of the Lakers players' spouses, the RadarOnline report stated,

The thing is, a source told RadarOnline that after Kardashian married Odom she tried to get to know Vanessa Bryant because Odom and Kobe Bryant are very close.

Khloe truly tried to break through Vanessa's icy exterior, with no success, RadarOnline reported being told by a team insider. Khloe has always been down to earth, and she became instantly very well liked by Lamar's teammates and wives. Vanessa was extremely jealous of the loving and healthy marriage that Lamar and Khloe have. Khloe and Lamar had the Bryants over for dinner on multiple occasions, and it was always very tense because of Vanessa. Vanessa just thinks that she is better than everyone else.

The report also noted that Kobe Bryant's teammates allegedly encouraged him to do away with Vanessa Bryant a long time ago.

Vanessa was extremely arrogant, and very, very hard to get along with. Kobe's fellow Lakers had encouraged him to dump Vanessa for years because he was so unhappy, a source told RadarOnline. Bryant's teammate, Derek Fisher, and his wife, Candace, fully support Kobe. Kobe didn't pull the plug because of his two daughters. It's easy to blame the divorce on Kobe for his cheating, but Vanessa played a significant role in the demise of their marriage.

Vanessa and Kobe Bryant have two daughters: Natalia, 8, and Gianna, 5. They have both requested joint custody of the children.

In her divorce filing on Friday Vanessa Bryant cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for leaving the NBA star, even though she stuck with him throughout the 2003 scandal, admitting he made a mistake.

She's been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she's finally had enough, a source told TMZ.

The couple has no pren-up and reports are that Vanessa Bryant will get to keep the couple's mansion in Newport Coast, Orange County, Calif., and possibly half of Kobe Bryant's fortune.
