Kourtney Kardashian thinks the women in her family were uncomfortable showing or receiving affection. She has proof!

A catch-up video of the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” season 19 premiere published on YouTube showed a segment in which the eldest among the Kardashian-Jenner sisters having lunch with sister Kendall Jenner and best friend Stephanie Shepard. The 41-year-old reality TV star told her sister that she had been to the Cuddle Sanctuary in California.

Jenner said she knew the place from her friends and said she couldn't bring herself to trying the place. Kourtney couldn't help wonder if the discomfort with displays of affection was a family thing.

The Poosh founder went to test her theory on Kim. Kourtney’s hug surprised Kanye West’s wife, who later revealed that she was sick.

Kourtney then tested her theory on Khloe in the gym. She gave a lingering hug to her surprised sister.

Khloe was baffled and repeatedly asked her older sister what was wrong. Kourtney revealed later how she felt the awkwardness after she hugged the SKIMS founder.

When Kourtney told Khloe that she just hugged kim, Khloe said she couldn’t even imagine the scene. Kourtney told Khloe about Kim’s reaction, wondering it was in jest, only to be told that Khloe felt the same way.

It wasn’t just Kourtney who thought the women in the Kardashian-Jenner family were uncomfortable with affection. Kendall reportededly said she had some intimacy issues after saying she could not recall having cuddles with their mom, Kris Jenner.

The “KUWTK” star also confessed remembering how their parents sat on their beds and read them some books but she couldn’t remember them being cuddly. Contrary to her childhood, Kourtney revealed that she was super cuddly with her boyfriend and kids.

Kourtney has three kids with Scott Disick, namely, Mason, Penelope and Reign. She saw to it that her kids were showered with affection —from sharing a strand of noodle to snuggling in bed with them.
