Kourtney Kardashian Less Screen Time On ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ —Here’s Why
KEY POINTS
- Kourtney Kardashian had decided to limit her kids’ exposure to the camera
- She’s doing this for her welfare and the protection of her growing kids
- According to her sisters, she won’t leave the show
- That it’s only a shift/transition and she won’t completely disappear from the show
Kourtney Kardashian had made her decision —she will be filming less on the upcoming season of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” What made her decide to do this though?
Kardashian is reportedly getting concerned about the possible effects on her kids growing up under the spotlight, a source revealed according to the report of People. Ever since, Mason, 10, Penelope, 7 Reign, 5, had been exposed to the public, which she reportedly didn’t feel beneficial for her kids.
The source claimed of trolls posting horrible comments about her kids, whom she shares with ex-husband, Scott Disick.
The 40-year-old mom reportedly feels protective of her children and did not regret making such decision. In fact, Kardashian was happy about it.
The report further revealed that by the end of season 17 of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” the mom of three had already reached her breaking point with filming. It was also reported that Kardashian previously set boundaries, but she felt they were not respected.
In other words, it wasn’t only the kids’ welfare that concerns her. Apparently, she reportedly made this decision for herself too.
Kardashian’s sister, Kendall Jenner, previously explained the Poosh founder’s standpoint during her interview at “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Jenner, compared to her other sisters, managed to keep most part of her life private. Her older sister’s situation was, rather, a bit different.
Jenner explained that Kardashian had boundaries, and they were, totally, understandable. But at one point, Jenner said that Kardashian allowed her personal life to be in the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” show, Entertainment Tonight reported.
The supermodel described it as a shift. Despite the circulating news that Kardashian will leave the one of the longest-running reality show, Jenner confirmed, in the same interview with DeGeneres, that she thought her sister did not fully confirm to leave.
Even the other members of the family are not sure if there’s already a conclusion on the matter. [Kim] Kardashian, at first, said “We’ve come to the conclusion that [Kourtney will] film a little bit.” Then it as followed by a “I don’t even know if we have a conclusion, actually. It’s always up in the air.”
Growing up under the scrutiny of the public eye is very challenging for an adult, so much so for the kids. There will always be someone who will love you while others bash you.
So what do you think, did Kardashian make the right decision?
