Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick's Son Mason In Therapy After Parents Split
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s oldest son Mason is reportedly in therapy. Recent reports revealed that the 5-year-old has been seeing a therapist to help him deal with his parents’ recent breakup.
According to OK! Magazine, Kourtney has decided that it would help Mason if he works with a therapist during this difficult time. “Mason is very close to his dad and keeps asking why he isn’t living with them anymore,” said a source.
After the couple broke up in early July, Scott moved into a Beverly Hills mansion that he initially intended to use as a flipping project. After buying the house in December last year, he renovated it and was planning on selling when he found himself kicked out of the family home.
He and Kourtney moved into a sprawling Calabasas estate just last summer with their three children. Apart from Mason, they also have 3-year-old Penelope and 8-month-old Reign.
“He was an only child for two years, and Scott was around a lot more for him,” revealed the source, while talking about Mason and his adjustment to the split.
Kourtney reportedly thinks that a therapist would be able to explain the situation to her son, and also help him “express himself.” Since the breakup, the kids have been staying with Kourtney at the Calabasas house, however, she has been allowing Scott to spend time with the children in the home as well as in their favorite local eateries and hangouts.
Despite having broken up, the pair has shared time with their kids, and was even once spotted enjoying lunch together with the kids in Beverly Hills.
