Kourtney Kardashian And Travis Barker Are ‘Like High-School Sweethearts,’ Says Source

For Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, the year 2021 has been all about their whirlwind romance, including vacations and an extravagant proposal. Now, it looks like their romance is still going strong, as a source has exclusively told PEOPLE Magazine they are “like high-school sweethearts.”

The insider also stated though Kardashian "was never opposed to marriage" before getting together with the Blink-182 drummer, "her thoughts definitely changed when she and Travis became official. Those two spend all their time together and are madly in love."

Ever since the couple, who have reportedly known each other for years, took their friendship to the next level, they have been posting pictures of their life together on Instagram.

Earlier this month the “Poosh” founder shared a snap that showed a bikini-clad Kardashian sitting at the edge of a pool, while Barker kissed her. “Life with you,” she captioned the picture.

Talking further about their romance, the source added: "She's over the moon, they're almost like high school sweethearts all over again. Neither of them ever thought they'd fall in love like this again."

The insider said the reason why the 42-year-old was so smitten by her fiancé was because of how he was with her three kids Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, who she shares with her ex-Scott Disick.

"He's so sweet and loving towards her and her children. Their families also blended easily and nicely, and they all get along so well."

After almost a year of dating, Barker decided to pop the question on Oct. 17.

"It was a complete surprise for Kourtney. Travis told her family that he planned to propose, but everyone was great at keeping it secret," another source told the magazine at the time.

He planned an extravagant seaside proposal for his girl in Montecito, California

"Travis took Kourtney for a walk, and you could tell that she wasn't sure what was going on when she saw all the roses on the beach. Red and white roses were shaped into a heart. There were a lot of candles. They both looked very happy," added a family friend.
