Kris Jenner Broke Own Family Due To Affair, ‘KUWTK’ Star Shares Life After Divorce

Kris Jenner admitted that she broke her own famiy because she had an affair.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashian” star got candid about her marriage and split from Robert Kardashian when she appeared in the “InCharge With DVF” podcast on Thursday. Jenner and Robert had four children, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Rob Kardashian, before they finalized their divorce in 1991.

The momager confessed that it was her fault why their family broke up. She admitted that she had an affair and it led to their divorce.

“I got married when I was very, very young,” Jenner shared. “I met Robert when I was 18 years old. We dated for four years, got married at 22. Sooner or later during my life when I was in my 30s, I had an affair and my biggest regret was the fact that it broke up my family.”

When Jenner’s marriage with Robert ended, she was left as a single parent to four children. She didn’t know where to live and how she would make it. Jenner said it was the “scariest time” for her and Rob was only a year old at the time.

“I was really, really scared. I remember picking myself up by my bootstraps one day. I have deep faith in God and I just started praying that God would strengthen me, give me that power, give me the ability to be in charge of my own life. It was my turn to really grow up,” Jenner added.

In February, Jenner appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show. During her guesting, the TV presenter praised the celebrity mom of six for being honest and open, so they played a game called “Keeping Up With the Blank.” The mechanics of the game was very simple, Jenner just had to fill in the blank.

While it sounded so easy, Jenner couldn’t help but laugh when DeGeneres said, “My favorite daughter is [blank].” Jenner said, “Of today?” to make the question easier to answer and the TV presenter said, “Yeah, today.” Jenner answered, “Khloe,” before adding, “I’m gonna have to disconnect everybody’s TVs tomorrow.”
