Kris Jenner Had Orchestrated Kim Kardashian’s Wedding To Kanye West To Save Family Name: Reports

While reports of an impending divorce between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have just started to fizzle out, Radar Online said in a report Monday that the celebrity couple’s entire marriage was a plan to rescue the family brand and to help elevate it. The latest report comes despite Kardashian and West releasing posts on social media praising each other for the love they share.

Ian Halperin, the author of “Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson,” told Radar Online that the plan to rescue the Kardashian name was laid out in detail so it could benefit the Kardashians. However, he reportedly said that his publishers for his book “Kardashian Dynasty,” slated to release later this month, had asked him not to speak about the project. Radar Online cited an insider from the publishing house who disclosed details to the gossip website while the book's research was ongoing.

“Kim’s marriage to Kris Humphries had collapsed after just 72 days and with the media claiming their relationship was just a publicity stunt, there were debates going on behind the scenes about whether the show was toast,” the insider told Radar Online, adding: “There was a real danger that the plug was going to be pulled on them.”

The insider continued, according to Radar Online: “Halperin says he discovered that Kris Jenner called a crisis meeting and came up with the idea of moving the plot forward by having Kim date someone else who was fashionable and ideally of African American descent,” adding: “In the end, Halperin says the list included one Caucasian, Justin Bieber, as well as Kanye [West], Nick Young, of the LA Lakers, and Matt Kemp, of the LA Dodgers, who once dated Rihanna.”

The source also said: “Kim settled on Kanye, though at first she thought he was too short for her,” adding that it was a bid to save her family.

The source went on to say that the couple did end up falling in love later. “Halperin says that Kris was upfront with Kanye about this being a set up and he agreed because he thought his star as well as Kim’s would be augmented,” the source said, adding: “It became friends with benefits and Kim got pregnant and they really did fall for each other.”

Halperin said in a write-up for Mail Online on Sunday that Jenner had also helped to leak Kardashian’s sex tape with her former boyfriend Ray J that shot her to fame. He added that Jenner was the one who persuaded Kardashian to pose naked for Playboy and “orchestrated” two of her marriages. He also said that the two fight a lot now and are “rethinking” their position. He added that they may call it quits soon.

Halperin said, according to Daily Mail: “For all the denials, family members who have spoken to me say Kris and Kim plotted to release the sex tape in public. It was a deliberate strategy. They had seen the impact of Paris Hilton’s sex tape and knew it was a sure-fire way to achieve fame – however notorious.”
