Kris Jenner Weight Gain 2016: 'Kardashian' Star Reportedly Packed On 72 Pounds
It's a battle of the bulge for Kris Jenner. The Kardashian-Jenner “momager” has always been critical of the way Kim Kardashian West eats, but the reality star might have just turned into a hypocrite. Jenner has ballooned to more than 200 pounds, putting on 72 pounds since last summer, Star Magazine claimed in their new issue.
The reality star’s weight gain is from the drama in her personal life. "No doubt it's from the stress of seeing her ex-husband Bruce turn into 'Caitlyn,' dealing with daughter Kourtney's issues with baby daddy Scott Disick, son Rob's diabetes battle, and daughter Khloé's ex Lamar Odom's drug overdose!" an insider told Star Magazine, according to Radar Online.
Jenner has hidden her weight gain over the past few months, but her holiday trip to St. Barts with boyfriend Corey Gamble exposed her secret. An unflattering photo of Jenner, 60, boarding a yacht showed her saggy behind, back rolls and droopy arms. The baggy cover-up she had on didn’t do her body any favors. "Fat rolls were bulging out of her swimsuit, and her legs were covered with cellulite,” the source said. “Kris was practically unrecognizable!"
Jenner frequently drinks on “KUWTK,” and she reportedly consumes up to four bottles of wine per day. She also indulges in comfort foods, eating cheeseburgers for breakfast and three bags of chips before bed. All that totals to more than 6,000 calories per day, Star Magazine wrote on their cover story.
While weight gains can fluctuate, her additional pounds may come across as a little hypocritical for Jenner. She's always been harsh with Kardashian West, and admonished her for eating too many sweet while pregnant with Saint West. Jenner said her daughter was a "closet eater."
