Krispy Kreme (DNUT) is launching a line of doughnuts just for dogs in honor of National Dog Day.

The Doggie Doughnuts will be available in the U.S. for a limited time at participating restaurants on Friday and over the weekend while supplies last.

The baked Doggie Doughnuts are ideal for dogs of all ages and sizes as well as breeds, Krispy Kreme said.

Available in six doughnut-shaped biscuits, the Doggie Doughnuts are inspired by classic Krispy Kreme doughnuts and are being sold in a specially designed six-count box in stores and via the drive-thru.

The doughnuts are dog-friendly and handmade by Huds and Toke – an Australian artisan pet treat company. They are made with a hard-baked cookie, using ingredients such as Carob – a substitute for chocolate.

Participating Krispy Kreme shops that will be offering the Doggie Doughnuts can be found here.

The Doggie Doughnuts are being sold in conjunction with a limited-edition red bandana covered in a dog, bone, and doughnut pattern that can be purchased as an accessory for a pooch. Bandanas come in one size that fits most dogs and will also be available while supplies last at participating stores.

"Our dogs have given us so much love and comfort to help us through these last couple of years. They deserve this special treat," Dave Skena, global chief brand officer at Krispy Kreme, said in a statement. "On National Dog Day this Friday, give your furry friend something pawsome."
