Krispy Kreme (DNUT) has unveiled a new collection of pie-inspired doughnuts just in time for Thanksgiving Day and that are now available at participating locations across the U.S.

According to Krispy Kreme, 80% of Americans say that this year Thanksgiving is more important than in previous years, and nearly half of respondents in a national survey, it cited, plan on attending more Thanksgiving celebrations than they did before the pandemic.

“We missed out on so much last year, including Thanksgiving celebrations,” Dave Skena, chief marketing officer at Krispy Kreme, said in a statement.

“This Thanksgiving, people have a desire and need to be together more often and more so than any other Thanksgiving. So, we’re creating a way to share your gratitude with others in the most delicious way possible,” he added.

The new doughnut collection includes a Pecan Pie doughnut that is made with Krispy Kreme’s Original Glazed doughnut dipped in butter tart filling and then sprinkled with candied pecans and pie crust crumbles and a Cranberry Orange doughnut that is filled with cranberry and dipped in cranberry-orange icing and finished with an icing drizzle.

There is also a Dutch Apple Pie doughnut that is filled with apple pie filling that is dipped in caramel icing, topped with cinnamon, and decorated with an icing lattice. Lastly, a Gobbler doughnut that is heart-shaped and dipped in chocolate icing and chocolate Kreme and topped with sprinkles and a turkey face fondant piece rounds out the collection.

With 56% of consumers saying they plan to spend less traditional time in the kitchen so they can spend overdue time with missed friends and family, Krispy Kreme is giving its doughnut fans the opportunity to purchase a “Gobbles of Gratitude” Thanksgiving Collection box of doughnuts to show appreciation for someone they care about.

After going private, Krispy Kreme returned to being publicly traded in July. The Charlotte, North Carolina-based company has about 1,400 locations and operates in multiple countries.

As of Monday at 11:12 a.m. EST, shares of Krispy Kreme were trading at $13.37, down 37 cents, or 2.66%.
