Kristen Bell Says Turning 37 ‘Feels Quite Good’; Husband Dax Shepard Calls Her ‘Greatest Wife’
Kristen Bell just turned 37, and she’s feeling very happy about it. The actress-singer and mother-of-two also got a sweet greeting from husband Dax Shepard on social media on her special day.
On Tuesday, Bell took to Instagram to share a photo showing her much younger self when she celebrated her third birthday with her father, Tom. In the caption for the post, Bell couldn’t help but be thankful that she’s turning a year older again. “I am incredibly happy to be alive,” she wrote. “I’m grateful for my mom, my dad, and my whole family for supporting me, challenging me, and keeping me grounded.” Bell also admitted in the same post that it “feels quite good” to now be 37.
The Hollywood actress, who currently stars on NBC’s “The Good Place,” received a lot of birthday greetings and well-wishes from her fans via social media. “Happy Birthday! Thank you for all the happiness you’ve brought to me over the years,” one fan wrote. “I’m telling you [Kristen Bell] it gets better and better. When you hit your 40s and if you’re still injury free it’s the best,” another commented.

Among all the greetings she got on her special day, the one from her Shepard stood out the most. The actor-director and father of Bell’s kids wrote a witty greeting for his wife on Twitter. “On this day, many moons ago, the greatest wife, mother (of dragons) and friend arrived. HAPPY BIRTHDAY my love,” the 42-year-old tweeted.
Shepard’s gesture may have touched a lot of their fans as it received a lot of positive comments right away. “You guys are so cute!!!!! A billion birthday wishes to your wife,” a fan commented on Shepard’s tweet. “You two just seem like an amazing couple and it’s so refreshing to see that in Hollywood,” another fan stated.
Bell and Shepard tied the knot in 2013 after dating for six years. They are parents to son Lincoln, 4, and daughter Delta, 2. The couple reportedly waited to tie the knot until California passed legislation to legalize same-sex marriage to show their support to the LGBTQ community, according to Daily Mail.

Bell’s “The Good Place” co-actor Ted Danson also paid tribute to her on social media.
