Kristen Stewart, Julianne Moore, Lily Collins Gamble At Casino Chanel
Kristen Stewart opened the Chanel Autumn/Winter 2015 Couture show on Tuesday. The actress was dressed in an all-black ensemble as she walked the runway. She is the face of Chanel, according to Grazia Daily.
She walked while biting on a red cigarette holder, embellished with gems. The “Twilight” star teamed her velvet trousers and jacket with a pair of heeled boots in the same color. This was the first time she participated in designer Karl Lagerfeld’s runway presentation.
Stewart wore a slick of red on her lips. Smoky eye makeup completed her look. She was joined by Julianne Moore and Lily Collins. The actresses made for the ultimate group of glamorous gamblers as they opened the show. They were pictured making bets on a roulette wheel and blackjack table located in the center of the opulent Grand Palais.
Moore looked gorgeous in an emerald green velvet dress that showed off her stunning figure. She accessorized with a glittering star necklace. The actresses were joined at their roulette table by top Dutch model Lara Stone as models strutted around them.
The leading ladies also were joined by fellow celebrities Vanessa Paradis and her daughter Lily-Rose Depp. The group modeled Chanel diamonds as they played at the table. They showcased outfits that will be displayed for a Chanel exhibition in autumn in London.
The runway also featured songstress Rita Ora. The new "X Factor" judge opted for a standout satin silver blazer and matching skirt. The British singer made sure all eyes were on her in the plunging design. The maxi skirt featured a thigh-high split in the front. The jacket, with its plunging neckline that revealed a lot of skin, was a high-end take on the classic tuxedo.
Ora, 24, kept her makeup simple, except for a slick of dramatic black-winged eyeliner. She added a dramatic look with bold brows, while her platinum blond crop was ruffled up. A pair of classic black satin heels accentuated her long legs. She added some sparkle to her ensemble with a silver pendant.
Dubbed as the showman of the fashion world, Lagerfeld is known for putting on unusual displays at his Chanel fashion shows. And the fashion maestro transformed the Grand Palais into a Chanel Casino for his A/W 2015 showcase. The brand’s latest collection was full of stunning evening wear in a ultra-glam color palette of black and metallic.
