Rumors of a potential spilt between Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been crushed, after US Weekly revealed the actress bought her on-screen boyfriend two vintage guitars worth $12,000 for Christmas.

Stewart bought a 1959 Fender Jazzmaster and a 1947 K&F Lap Steeel, according to the report. She went shopping for the guitars at Norman's Rare Guitars in California, with her father John Stewart. The guitar store posted a picture on their Facebook page:

One source told Hollywood Life that Kristen knew exactly what she was getting as Pattinson was a regular customer at the store and the staff knew exactly what he was looking for. He's going to S-t when he sees them, Stewart was quoted saying by US weekly.

Prior to the holidays the couple were rumored to be heading in the direction of a spilt. OK! Magazine splashed headlines claiming Pattinson begged Stewart not to leave him.

A week before the rumors started, Pattinson was spotted leaving a Hollywood bar with Disturbia actress Sarah Roemer, which immediately sparked rumors of a possible breakup between Pattinson and his co-star, who at the time, was in London for the filming of Snow White and the Huntsman.

The photos, however, did not reveal as much as the hype made out. Ok! Claimed the two were squeezed into a back seat and stroking hands, but a close look at the photos shows their hands aren't even touching. More, descriptions of the photos missed one key detail: the actors were not alone. There was an additional passenger who was probably a mutual friend that has been in the club with them before.

Rob's one of the world's biggest heartthrobs, and Kristen's never been able to relax the whole time she's been with him, a so-called insider told OK! This was, like, her worst fear realized.

The apparent source went on to say that Pattinson was in total panic over the thought of losing Stewart, apparently groveling for forgiveness on his knees.

Pattinson and Stewart have been one of Hollywood's most talked about couples since rumors of a relationship between the two started in 2008 when they began working together for the Twilight series. The couple is currently ranked number one in Pop Sugar's Favorite celebrity PDA moment of 2011 poll.

Last Sunday, Pattinson was spotted leaving a bar and getting into a car with Roemer in Los Feliz.. Pattinson looked scruffy with his overgrown beard, checkered shirt and a cap. That he and Roemer were photographed so closely inside the car has put doubt into his relationship.

Rob was literally fending off advances from girls, left and right. Every female in the bar wanted to get close to him and for the most part, he politely ignored them but one girl caught his eye and she left with him, a source told Ace Showbiz.

It was only last week that Pattinson was in London with Stewart, reportedly having several date nights and were still a happy couple.

Contrary to rumors, Gather.com and other gossip outlets claimed that Pattinson's relationship with Stewart was been growing, and it seems they were right. In a recent interview with Hollywood Life he disclosed that his favorite part of filming the Twilight series was kissing his girlfriend.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to tell how much of Rob's daily drama is real, according to Gather. How much is fantasy, and how much is a carefully constructed publicity campaign.

While they didn't spend Christmas together the couple is expected to be together for New Year's Eve, Hollywood Life reported.
