Kristin Cavallari, best known for her starring roles on the former MTV programs "Laguna Beach" and its spin-off "the Hills" has broken off from husband-to-be Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.

After announcing their engagement just two months ago, the pair has reportedly called it quits. Souces close to the couple confirmed to Access Hollywood that Cavallari, 24 and Cutler, 28, have officially called off the engagement.

A separate source tells Access that Jay was the one who broke up with Kristin and she was caught completely off guard.

The two had been a couple for 10 months and were planning a spring wedding until Cutler changed his mind about marriage, according to People.com.

"She got dumped," a source told People. "She's absolutely devastated. She can't believe this is happening."

The couple became engaged in April when Cutler popped the question in Mexico. They'd spent much of their time recently in Chicago, and Cavallari had planned to move there during the upcoming football season.

Cavallari has yet to make a public statement about the rumored split, but she did Tweet back to her fans, "Thanks for the support. Love u guys."
