Kristin Cavallari shared her holiday plans, saying she will be spending the holiday season with her ex Jay Cutler and their three children together.

The "Very Cavallari" star, 34, spoke with Us Weekly Monday to promote the Winter 2 collection of her Uncommon James jewelry. During the interview, she spoke about her co-parenting arrangement with Cutler and their plans to spend the holidays as a family.

"For me, it’s just about putting the kids first," she told the outlet. "The kids are the only thing that matters and what’s best for them. That’s how I look at it. You’ve just got to make the most of it. … Luckily, we are able to spend it together, and I’m really grateful for that."

Cutler and Cavallari share three kids — Camden, 9, Jaxon, 7, and Saylor, 5. According to Cavallari, one of their family traditions for the holidays is having the elves come over. The elves will come a week before Christmas and if the kids are good, they will receive a little something in their stockings. Otherwise, they will get coal. She also likes preparing Italian dishes on Christmas Eve.

"I feel like this year more than ever, everyone is really excited to get back and holiday parties. And I feel like we’re going to be dressing up even more than maybe we normally would. So we have a little glitz and glam that we don’t always have," she added.

When it comes to parenting, the "Laguna Beach" alum said she had "real conversations" about "real-life lessons" with her children. The "True Roots" author said she missed the newborn snuggles and cute little toddlers at home, but she also loves their current phase. "They are their own people. They’re really forming their identity and that’s really exciting," the mom of three said.

Cavallari and Cutler also spent Thanksgiving last year. In a previous interview, when she was promoting her cookbook "True Comfort," the reality star said she was looking forward to the event and was happy that despite their split, they were able to work things out for their family.

"I’m happy that we’re able to spend it together and have these conversations even though we’re in the middle of getting a divorce. So, I’m thankful for where we’re currently at," she told Us Weekly at the time.

Cavallari and Cutler announced their split in April 2020, after 10 years of being together. They are still in the process of finalizing their divorce.
