Kristin Chenoweth Rushed to Hospital Affter Accident on the Set of 'The Good Wife'
TMZ is reporting Wednesday night that actress Kristin Chenoweth was rushed to Bellevue Hospital after an accident on the Brooklyn set of The Good Wife. According to her publicist, a falling piece of lighting equipment hit Chenoweth, who fell and struck her head on the concrete.
According to TMZ, the New York Fire Department stated that an unidentified woman injured in the area is being treated for minor injuries. While she may be Chenoweth, no other information about her condition has been made clear at this point.
After someone on set called 911 at 5:07 p.m., an FDNY ambulance responded and rushed Chenoweth to Bellevue in Manhattan.
A photo from TMZ appears to show the actress strapped to a stretcher and wearing a neck brace, as FDNY EMTs carry her into an ambulance. Chenoweth appears conscious in the photograph. A distraught-looking woman sands beside her.
Chenoweth, who is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Glenda in the Broadway version of Wicked, was filming a guest spot on the fourth season of the CBS drama. Details are scarce about her character and the effect her injury will have on production of the series.
Chenoweth won a Tony Award for her performance in the Broadway production You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and an Emmy Award for her portrayal of Olive Snook, the main character of ABC's Pushing Daisies.
